Hi there…and yet another issue… tried to start the sim and (first time ever) a xbox welcome screen asking for lauching…ok..i did…and then took for ever to launch…i restarted the computer, and now when lauching the sim, aboso logo and black screen and launching takes for ever…no welcome screen…total…

Make sure any overlocking is reduced and that you have no mods (just rename Community folder). As others have said also check what any 3rd party anti virus is doing. I dont used 3rd party so Im not familiar with AVG. No issues with WinDefender.

Probably not. There was a time last year when I was getting the black screen etc & it caused me a lot of trouble for a few days. Turned out to be Microsoft’s own Defender! They have fixed that since though so it doesn’t block it anymore. Hopefully the other suggestions will solve your problem Rega…

Sorry to hear that. In 99% of the cases those can be solved by clearing out the community folder. Even a single livery can cause crashes on startup. If your community folder is completely clear, and you’ve followed all the steps on that list, I can only recommend re-opening that ticket you had on …
