Noticed after the public SU15 update , I am unable to request clearance after loading the flight plan on the a320neo v2 via simbrief. The option does not pop up .
Is there something different I should be doing ?
Many thanks

Hi @ExoticFuZi0N and welcome to the forum !,

The Bug Reporting Hub is for posting suspected or confirmed bugs that other users are able to reproduce without duplicating an existing bug report. Using the template or providing all the relevant information about your bug and sim setup is required in order to provide valuable information, feedback, and replication steps to our test team.
If you are not sure if your issue is a bug or need further input from the community, please use the User Support Hub category. If the community can replicate your issue, first search the Bug category to see if there’s an existing topic. If it already exists, contribute to that report. Duplicate bug reports will be closed.

This isn’t a bug. You have to turn the radio on on the pedestal.
I did that but still no joy. I was told in a different post to turn on the Call button just below the frequency section.
Yes I did that as well, even had the volume on max. Communication between ground and tower is fine. Just no option to request clearance, I don’t even see my route on the in game vfr map. Only option is to fly without IFR. I did import using simbrief so I assuming that the game failed to recognize the imported flight plan maybe?
I have the same bug on xbox
The only way to get the clearance option is to mirror your flightplan from SimBrief in the world map when loading in, which defeats the purpose of using SimBrief.
Create a basic flight plan in world map, IFR direct. Then you will basically overwrite it in the plane with your simbrief. Ive been doing this with this plane on beta for weeks now just fine.
Well that sucks because it works perfectly fine with the default a310
That’s bit of a bummer considering it works fine with the a310 . Guess I will try it out.
Also having the weird nose wheel issue where it doesn’t really turn all the way during taxi even after setting it to link with rudder in efb. Every other aircraft works fine
ihave same bug,
Had that problem too, and I noticed that there was a conflict in the CONTROLS settings, something else was mapped to Nosewheel steering. As soon as I cleared the conflicting item, WALA! Everything worked fine. So in my settings NOTHING is mapped to Nosewheel Steering, its all coming from the EFB in the Sim - Setting both Nosewheel options to YES (I use TCA Thrustmaster Captain’s Pack with Sidestick and with both Left side spoiler and Right Side Flap add-ons.)
I load simbrief flightplan on the world map for all IFR flights. It’s a required step if you want to use default ATC. It does not defeat the purpose of using simbrief. The latter is more intuitive to use and provides fuel and TOW calculations. In-game flight plan won’t do it.
This is exactly what I said in my previous post, so not sure what new information you’re sharing.
This is subjective and your opinion, mine differs, so not sure why you felt the need to share it.
Sorry to hit on an old thread, but I didn’t want to start up a new one on the same topic.
I have tried everything in the previous messages, plus a few other things and while I can see the ‘Request IFR Clearance’ prompt and even hear the controller interacting with other aircraft I can’t get default ATC to respond to my key or mouse presses for an IFR clearance.
I can ask for and receive ATIS, so some things do work.
I’ve tried loading a Simbrief flight plan on the main menu. Inputting the dest/arr and letting MSFS create the plan. Inside the aircraft I’ve imported a plan to the tablet, not imported a plan to the table. Created a plan in the FMSG, not creating a plan, and importing the Simbrief plan.
I honestly can’t think of anything that I haven’t or could try, so if someone is having success please share it with me.
Thanks,
Ernie
Yeah I was told the only go around to this is to file the flight plan manually in the World Map before starting flight. It’s a certain feature that developers have to add to their aircraft to be able to pick up flight plans that are filled during flight. I’ve also tried everything including sim brief. And it never works.
And I doubt any of the developers will have any intention of doing that considering most fly on PC with Vatsim and other softwares.
I guess it’s time for me to start looking at PCs
Thanks for the response.
I gave that a try, but still no luck. I’ve posted at iniBuilds so hoping they will have a suggestion.
Such a shame because I do like their A320neo otherwise.
