Hi, I’m a complete novice to MSFS and flight sims, so please excuse my potential ignorance.
Playing on XBox Series X.
On attempting my first Bush Trip (Rijeka to Santorini), I crashed the plane during the 4th or 5th step in the Navlog. Upon trying to restart the trip, the game puts me back just before the crash, but only steps 1-3 are listed in the Navlog so I’ve no idea where I’m supposed to fly.
I’ve relaunched the game, and selected ‘Start From’ in the Bush Trip menu, but every time it just reloads the trip from the point of failure and not from the departure runway, and there is nothing beyond step 3 in the Navlog.
Yeah i’m having the exact same problem, although i may have had a bad crash into trees so everytime it reloads it keep immediately saying i’ve crashed again
Me too with this one, I’m new to FS as well and I’ve tried everything, signed out and back in, quit the game and restarted the series x also tried full shut down and then started everything agin - no joy. Hope someone can help with this
Forgot to mention that I also tried deleting my save data and, although this reset my tutorial mission progress, it did nothing to reset the Bush Trip progress. Just incase other people want to avoid losing their data unnecessarily.
There’s a few other issues that arise as well, like the flight log only showing the completed stages, that mean i’m nervous to try any of the bush trips because one wrong move will make it impossible to complete
OK looks like I’ve been stupid - here’s what’s happened. This is for leg1 of the Rejeka to Santorini - I must have flown past the landing strip and gone too far south. It seems using the back on track button then guides you back on track i.e to the nearest point to the route to Santorini. So no Navlog instructions because I hadn’t landed at the correct strip.
I also crashed and was stuck in grassland but eventually managed to get back in the air and compared where I was on the map to google maps on a laptop. I then flew back north along the coast to find Senj and then flew to find Otocac - the “airport” is just a grass strip. I landed and the leg came up as completed and then I got the chance to continue and the Navlog showed the next set of instructions.. I found the Youtube video by Squirrel on this first leg really useful in realising that I was in the wrong area - Not sure if this will help others but it seems I can now restart the first leg. So I’ll try to do it this time with “no back on track”
Sorry for the long post
you can always enter the airstrip as your Direct to destination in the GPS, keep in mind though, that if the flightplan is still there, you will delete it
if the flightplan is there however, you can scroll through and find the correct waypoint nav and pick back up
