Unable to start Career Mode

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: As of yesterday I am beta testing. Yesterday everything was perfect. I was able to click on Career mode and it loaded up fine. Today i have clicked on Career mode and instead of getting popups saying how much I’ve earned while being AFK, I got nothing, just a pic of the pilot (me) in an office. Without these popups I am unable to continue into career mode.

Even after uninstalling all the world data, etc, this fault is still evident. I enrolled into beta and yesterday was my first day testing. If this is update 4 then you need to put a hold on it!

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? Every time after day 1 of enrolling into the beta. I presume this beta is for update 4.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Downloaded everything that was streaming. I have currently uninstalled everything and still the same

  2. Run game and select Career mode

What peripherals are you using, if relevant: x56 hotas, thrustmaster pedals

[PC Only] Are you using Developer Mode or have you made any changes to it? Not using. Not made any changes

[PC Only] What GPU (Graphics Card) do you use? RTX 4080 Super O/C

[PC Only] What other relevant PC specs can you share? Ryzen 9 9900X, 2x 2TB SSD’s, 128GB DDR5

There is a bug report for this allready. It’s easy to fix,. Cause: soft lock in career when passive income is payed out, see the release notes.

  1. Reset career
  2. Unbind the ai pilots in every plane in career
  3. Happy flying

There was an even easier fix:

  1. Goto Insider Hub
  2. Opt out of beta
  3. Problem fixed

I shouldn’t have to unbind pilots in order for the game to work. I like my passive payouts.

Also, I did look for any similar posts but didn’t see any
