Hi. When taking off, once speed gets upwards of around 10 knots several “ghosts” of the undercarriage appear. This is coupled with a degradation in textures of the undercarriage and a huge drop in quality of the ground shadow cast by the plane.
I’ve searched, but can’t see this discussed anywhere.
I’m on Xbox S. I think there was a time several updates ago where this didn’t occur.
Guess there’s nothing can be done. Curious if this is a known issue or something experienced by many.
Many thanks.
If I’m looking at the right thing, it’s the TAA anti-aliasing that causes this effect. It is most prone to doing this with ground shadows and watching other planes flying through clouds. At least that’s on the PC version. I know on Xbox you don’t have those setting options to test other AA options but that would be my guess based on what I’m seeing. From what I’ve been told, that’s just inherent in how TAA works.

Looks like temporal ghosting in TAA, as seen and described by many folks.
On Xbox you can’t do anything to adjust the graphics settings. On PC you could use one of the more primitive (and IMHO much worse) anti aliasing methods, but I’ve never considered that a worthwhile trade-off.

That’s definitely TAA ghosting, and can affect any object, even buildings.
