For the Most part trying to figure out how the cockpit buttons and controls interact with the sim has grown harder and harder with B-Events… That is a whole other thing that has been out there since SU-5 …
However for now… we could all benefit from being able to access the Interior XML files that map the events to the interior model. This is how we can easily find what the model is controlling under the hood and what VARS or Events it uses to control those functions.
Thus mapping controllers and hardware is much easier… especially when it comes to use of K-Events with parameters… One guessing eventually figures out that in the Longitude you have to send Toggle Landing Lights with a 1 for L and a 2 for right and a 3 for pulse… but where is the feedback for LEDs?? again point is unless there is documentation provided for every switch and emissive then we need access to these files to pull out the information ourselves.
I am hoping that the ides of a PREMIUM version of MSFS 2024 will not be a thing, and there will just be ONE version of MSFS2024, and not the current situation of a PREMIUM/DELUXE version, that has to have its contend encrypted, to prevent “sharing” of Premium Content with non premium owners. (which is a Joke in practice !! )
EVERYONE STARTS OFF “EQUAL” with MSFS 2024, and no need for encryption of “Premium” Content … that BTW, Today is Far From “PREMIUM”, but is just neglected, never updated, and an expensive purchasing mistake.
Well, I also don’t like the issue at hand. But I do think eventually the premium version became worth it. 787, C700, SR22T all good examples why. Yes the airports are not good. And the marketplace discount on first party aircraft is also worth it.
