I’m looking to uninstall and re install 2024 on pc on the Xbox app
I’ve uninstalled from the Xbox app but when I go into files to manually delete the limitless file to have a clean install that folder isn’t there any more and everywhere I look online says I should manually delete this
is this normal on the Xbox app? And do I now simply just need to re install ?
reason I’m wanting to do a clean install is because fps is quite low to what it was in su2 also lod doesn’t seem as good as people are reporting and also I get a lot of shimmering now in su3 so hoping a new fresh install will help
do you recommend anything else before re installing ? I’m going to use duu to uninstall latest nvidia driver as the screen kept going off and install the one before that too
Uninstalling the driver using DDU is a good idea, as it will also remove the driver cache. I’m not sure which exact GPU you have, but if you were experiencing any issues, it’s a good idea to try installing a different driver version. When you do, choose a custom installation and select only the driver itself - skip the NVIDIA app and/or NVIDIA GeForce Experience.
I use a 4090, fps did get better on second flight but only with frame gen native was really low 20/30 hardly any stutters but there was a lot of shimmering around the aircraft and in distance
I’m thinking about just deleting the nvidia app as I don’t really use it, would that be a good idea ?
