Uninstalling Airport scenery conflicting with others in MFS2024

msfs-2024
Hello,

It was easy to manage this is MFS 2020 and in MFS 2024 , under library, I would like to remove ORBX LOWI Innsbruck

and Asobo LOWI scenery as I’ve also Inibuilds scenery installed in the Community Folder. I don’t see any option to remove them in the search results . is it something to be fixed or did I miss something … Thank you

I didn´t find it, thinking in that also, toguether the missing Hangar. And now all is more cloud, not sure about it now how or where that takes effect, the remove/uninstall or, not loading it then from cloud now?.

This seems to be the equivelant to content manager where we could uninstall airports, however it does not seem to do anything at the moment, and only part of my content appears there at present. Lets hope that in a few days it all starts to fit together again.
I wish to remove the microsoft Barton Airfield as I have a far better freeware version in the community folder.

Came here to ask the same, one of my favorite airports is Catalina and ORBX had one, then Asobo made one in a world update that broke the terrain for the ORBX one. No biggie just uninstalled the ORBX.

Now 2024 is streaming my ORBX 2020 purchase and has giant cliffs on the runway. It does look like there will be functionality for local installs/enable/disable but none of them are working.

Yeah, we need a way to manage our previous purchases coming from 2020, at the moment all of it is activated and we have no way to manage any of if.

Hello guys, i am trying to delete the Asobo EDDM as it conflicts with the Simwing EDDM, i guess there is still no option to do this?

It seems that at the moment the only way is to install your airport in your community folder, than rename the name of the directory to “asobo-airport--”. You can find all asobo-airport files in the appdata\roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\StreamedPackages
This is for steam version, I don’t know for Xbox live version. I’m using for some airports and it works.

Thanks for your feedback! just to make sure i understood correctly:
this is the name of the folder (in this case for EDDM) which is in the streamed packages: “microsoft-airport-eddm-munich”. I shall leave this as it is. Instead i need to open a folder in the community which the same same “microsoft-airport-eddm-munich” and inside this folder i shall paste the one from Sim wings?

Yes, rename your simwings EDDM scenery dir (in the community folder) to “asobo-airport-eddm-munich”.

PS: You need also to delete asobo-airport-eddm-munich.dat file from SceneryIndex directory, so FS can recreate the file.
I don’t own EDDM from Simwings.

PSPS: With the new fs2024 update 1.2.7.0, things seems now different. You can disable steamed package from MyLibrary.

and now my original playstation has comparable graphics…

With the latest update, you can now disable the Asobo/Microsoft airport and place your new paid or freeware version into your community folder. Just takes a little time to discover where the conflicting airports are in the library - you need to drill down a little sometimes.
