Continuing from the Canadian Forces hops series, Airstud leads us in this multiplayer flight from Comox, BC into the United States to make a few stops at United States Air Force bases he’s personally visited during his military career.
It is advised in this flight to turn off both aircraft collisions and terrain collisions. If you do crash, you can use the “slew” mode to join the pack.
Thanks for your comment @Archer374 and you are correct but if you read the headline, it is about what bases I have flown in my career. It has nothing to do with the aircrafts itself.
Most bases have visitors from other Forces and that is the beauty of virtual flying…Anyone can join and be part of the flight…
No specific rules! But you’ll want to come in an F-14/F-18 or similar speed. Cessna 172 might still be at the originating runway when we get to the end.
Sure. We’ll be flying military power, so no afterburners that’ll send you way behind. If you need fuel, you can pretend there’s air refuelling by just using the toolbar at the top.
I would like THANK every single one of you for joining us in this flight tonight…As always, the professionalism and us all waiting for each other at the bases has built a lot of friendships and teamwork!..
