Hi All,
Whan ever i start MSFS i get a warning pop up. It warns me not to create stuff due to a bug they are working to resolve. My problem is that the warning pop up cannot be closed. I can see the close button but it is not responsive. No part of the sim is responsive. The only course of action is to force kill the whole sim in task manger.
Does this happen to anyone else ? Any ideas as to how to resolve this so that i can use the sim ?

What exactly does the message state?
Have you tried to “Alt+tab” to see if it’s a separate window? You might be able to do that, and then once in that window, heed what it says, click on “don’t show again”, and close that window.

Likely this is because you have an old version of the SDK installed. Get the latest or simply turn off dev mode and this message won’t show any more.
I son’t have any SDK installed as far as i know. The only reason the dev mode was activated was to see my frame rate. I don’t normaly develop things in the sim. I really feel like a noob here. Seems like a silly issue.

No such thing as silly issues, if you want to know about something in MSFS, this is the place!
As mentioned, if you turn off “Dev Mode” you should be OK.
Can i turn off dev mode from outside the sim ? I cannot turn it off from inside. No part of the sim is responsive as far as i can find out.

Sorry you’re experiencing this! We’ve had a similar issue to this occur in the past due to how the message window functions with the screen mode.
Hitting ALT + ENTER on your keyboard will toggle fullscreen mode; let me know if that lets you interact with the pop-up.
