Hello pilots! Project Coastline Italy update 3.0.9 is now available and free.
This update includes several improvements and fixes across multiple areas of the Italian coastline. In this version, I have added and improved the ports of Anzio, Nettuno, Lignano Sabbiadoro, Barletta, Manfredonia, and Vieste.
For Bari and Chioggia, excess water on the photogrammetry has also been removed: in Bari to eliminate water from canals that are now dried up, and in Chioggia to better clean up the marina areas.
The visible cube/box around the yacht has also been removed and should no longer appear.
In Vieste, I added the Vieste lighthouse model as well. In MSFS 2020, the lighthouse works correctly and appears at the expected distance. In MSFS 2024, however, because of the different way LODs behave, the lighthouse only appears when you get close enough. Once visible, it works correctly, but for the moment, I have not been able to fully solve this behavior.
Even so, I preferred to complete and release the update with all the improvements already ready, rather than delay it further, so you can start enjoying the new fixes and additions right away.
