Updated default C172 lighting behavior not ideal

Not sure when the model was updated, but there is a glaring issues with the default lighting behavior; It is way too bright for night time flying. The model formerly did not have this issue

Even with the visor light off, there’s this issue.

Again by default the lights are enabled at full blast. Trying to do some night flying into Killeen,I ended up having to kill the power (and do a no-flap landing), because I didn’t relize the cabin flood knobs are rotaries and not push buttons.

Can we please have plane profiles that maintain between sessions such as fuel payloads, passagener (constantly having to remove the 170 lbs ghost from the passagener seat everytime), and keep the bloody buttons where they were?

Looks like you have the Pilot & Co-Pilot Overhead lighting on Full ??

If so, that’s quite realistic as to what it should look like…

(Suggest trying not to Bleed on the Buttons, that could well short them out, as well as being a medical contamination issue)

I’m not disputing the effects, rather the behavior.

If I don’t want the lights on to presevere my night vision, MSFS should allow me to save the behavior, and not force me everytime to reconfigure.

There is NO state saving in the Asobo Default Premium C172 Classic. - and with very little or any updates done to the Premium Planes, even after 2 year, it is highly unlikely that we will see any such significant improvements in the future.

If you want full State saving, and a very significantly Enhanced C172 Classic, you might like to check out the “WB-SIM c172 Classic Enhansement” , available on Just Flight.

(PC only, at the moment - maybe coming to X-Box when the WT GNS530 becomes the MSFS 2020 Standard GNS530 - early 2023 ? )

I guess as a comprise, the options could be added into the menu’s (if the default camera height is a menu option, then default mechinal states show be an option, shurg)

It just seems silly that things keep getting broken

Maybe you should submit that idea to a new “Wish List” thread, and see how many others agree and want the same thing,
