Upgrading from Xbox Series X to PC

I’m retiring my XBox series X and I’m upgrading to a PC. I already received my MSFS2024 key for either Xbox or Windows, but I’m afraid to login to the PC with my Xbox account and then be limited to use only Xbox compatable aircraft. I’m changing to a PC to be able to buy and use those fancy aircraft that I can’t use in Xbox. Can someone please give me some suggestions of what should I do? Thank you.

If you make the switch, everything you have from the Xbox will be on pc. Vice versa as well

Thank you for your reply. I still have a question. If I switch to PC using my Xbox account, will I be able to install the Fênix A320 and other aircraft that won’t work on Xbox series x?

Yes. But keep in mind most complex aircraft are not ready for use in MSFS 2024.

Yes they just won’t be able to be used on your Xbox. Same user profile between machines.

Made the switch myself back in May and loving it!

Yes the Fenix will work in FS2024, and all addons you got from the marketplace should work in FS2024.
Most MS commissioned addons already work in MSFS2024, so for the most part, any of those you purchased from the Marketplace should be available to you now.

You can install either MSFS version on as many devices as you want.
The only thing to remember is that you can only log in on one device at a time.

sorry i have the xbox x using fs2024, if i want to use the fs2024 on pc and download it and not from the xbox app for pc, i want to be able to download and run on pc, is that duable or do i need to purchase the pc version

They are the same version. You bought it, you can install on your Xbox and or PC. You still need to use your Xbox login for both PC and Xbox.

You do not need to repurchase anything.

There is no old fashioned download to your PC. 2024 is for the most part streamed to your PC. Install is minimal.

so fs2024 for pc is also cloud based rather like 2020???
