Very nice. Here is a somewhat shorter route.

It was constructed via GTFP. I would be interested if someone has a shorter ‘tour’ that does the same thing.
What about when you add the distance from Maine back to Washington? 
Mine’s a loop.
Good point. Starting and finishing at Washington (44T) gives me 9238 nm.
May I ask how you found your route? My pgm uses ‘simulated annealing’.

Also, Washington, DC is in there, too.
