I would like to share an idea, but I apologize if someone else has already thought of it and posted it earlier. Before diving in, I have two observations: of course, there are several issues with the ATC, one of which is inherited from 2020. Specifically, it often simulates a roller coaster where the ATC keeps sending aircraft up and down between two altitudes continuously, without any justified reason. Additionally, the ATC window cannot be toggled on and off; I always have to close it with the mouse.
Generally, listening to the ATC instructions is sufficient, but if you’re not paying close attention or if the controller provides a more complex procedure or taxi route, you need to check the text in the ATC window. In such cases, I open the window using a control key. Am I interested in the communications with other aircraft before or during? No! Just what messages are addressed to me, perhaps a couple of previous ones as well. So, compared to this, when I turn on the ATC window, I do not see my messages but rather continuous communications with other pilots, constantly scrolling with new messages, making it frustrating and confusing to navigate to what interests me because it’s relevant to me but immediately scrolls past as communication flows.
Therefore, I request the ability to filter the messages sent exclusively to me, possibly as a persistent setting or perhaps with a toggle icon. Secondly, the last message should be displayed at the bottom of the window, not only the previous ones. This is my suggestion for the developers.
