Now can use server UTC live weather with any date.
However I do not understand how to set it up in the sim.
I want the time set up to some time in the past 24 hours and the weather being the current weather and not the weather at the time. How do I do that with this UI?
In the screenshot above you should be set to do exactly that - drag the time slider but leave the Live Weather box checked and that will be Live (current) weather but with whatever time of day you choose. If you want historic live weather, that would be on the “Live” box under “Weather and time” where you currently have “Custom” chosen. When you move the time of day slider on that menu it will change both the time of day and the weather to match the time of day within the last 24 hours.

No problem - and same basic logic applies to the in-game weather menu as well. The only thing to know there is that the “Live Time” toggle in the preset weather tab is broken atm, so if you want live time but custom weather you have to switch back to the Live tab, turn on live time/weather, then go back to the custom weather tab and change the weather as desired.
I think another bug is that the ATIS is still calling out the actual current weather instead of the historic weather.
Unfortunately I don’t think that’s a bug as much as a sim limitation. Weather reports from the sim, whether it’s ATIS/AWOS or METAR from the EFB, etc, is always current live weather. Might need a wishlist item to get that change requested.
