UserCfg.opt not being updated in VR FS2024

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Settings that are applied in VR over settings menu, are not reflecting in UserCfg.opt file. I’m not able to disable airport traffic in VR. Even when turning off inside settings, the UserCfg.opt still shows “0” instead of “-1” value

If you haven’t already done so, ensure that your UserCFG.opt file isn’t saved as “read-only”. Simply right-click on the file and in the property box, ensure there is no check in the box for read-only. If there is, simply uncheck it and close the properties box.

Oh hey, Thanks God I am not alone.

My usercfg.opt gets overwritten every time I start the game. All my graphic settings changes to Custom and most of them to Ultra. Both Desktop and VR.
I have to switch back to my tailored settings. But they keep coming back.

It is easy to test that if the file is overwritten. I simply open the file with notepad++ and it warns me when I click on the file that the file has changed and if I want to reload the newer.
