I have a HP all in one desktop that has a gorgeous display. There are no display inputs on it, only outputs. It doesn’t have the hardware to run fs2020. I also have a gaming laptop that is. Is there anyway to use the all in one as a monitor? I’m guessing no but what about wirelessly. I can play it on my TV wirelessly. Does wireless display work from one of to another?
I found an article that talks about doing just that. It says that if you don’t have an input marked HDMI In, you’re out of luck. The ones that do, have a mode button on the bottom of the frame to switch to dumb monitor mode.
Thanks for the info, I’ll check into that. I was able to get it to “project to this PC” wirelessly but it was slow and laggy. I need a better way. If all else fails, good monitors are pretty cheap these days.
Ah you’re right , I am out of luck. No video inputs on the all-in-one. That article explains going the other way from all-in-one to second monitor. I want to go from Laptop HDMI out to a second monitor, preferably to the all-in-one- display.
