I have a huge collection of flights and plans along with some custom weather files in MSFS2020. I’ve been saving them to the XBOX cloud to use them on both the PC and XBox which work fine. I now have MSFS2024 and can’t figure out how to load them or even create new ones in the new version. Any clues?
FS2024 only supports FS2024 .pln files
via Save & Load in the EFB.
FS2020 .pln & .flt files do not work.

I wrote an app that uses the flight plans for some data so I was dismayed that the PLN file has been totally gutted. It has nice additions but there are no coords or altitudes anymore.
I can see why, because it may not agree with the sim. A single source of truth is a good thing. But ■■■■. I just got my app working great.
While FS 2024 cannot write older sim flight plans I’m surprised to hear they can’t read them. That isn’t terribly backwards compatible…
The EFB has all the saving and loading.
FS2024 .pln only.
In a cessna 152???
The EFB works for all planes. So why not?
