It looks like the Marketplace accepts PayPal payments (under the ‘wallet’ tab) but I have a PayPal perk that requires a minimum spend of £20. As far as I know, there’s no way to start a basket in the Marketplace, with items only purchasable individually? Presumably there’s no way to take advantage of this perk unless I buy a single item for £20 or over?

You could buy simverse coins in the Marketplace.
I’ve never done that — would it work? Basically, the deal is that I pay the minimum spend of £20 by selecting three interest-free instalments to qualify; then I get £5 transferred to my PayPal account — do you think this is possible in the Marketplace? I’m not sure buying Simverse coins will allow me the instalment option needed to qualify for the perk?
Sorry about the delay getting back. From what I understand, simverse coins are offered in various quantities, if you choose the closest to your target amount you’ll then be able to spend them on anything you choose, or leave them for later. I’m not sure what quantities are offered in your currency, though.
I do something similar with Microsoft Rewards, which don’t last forever, so when I have enough I redeem them for a Microsoft gift card, which expires even quicker, so I spend that on simverse coins which can just sit in my account until I find something I like.
