Is it just me or is the UTC time in the sim off by an hour? This was taken at 1:34PM Pacfic Standard Time, and the sim thinks it’s 8:34PM UTC. I think it is 9:34PM UTC? Am I losing my mind?
Check UTC: https://www.utctime.net/
Then PST: Pacific Standard Time - exact time now - Time.is
Not checked in sim yet
Nope mine is showing correct when over in your time zone, only difference I have is 24hr clock, but it is -8 hrs to UTC
speaking of which, is it possible to set real time to ‘ON’ by default?
By default?
It is set everytime as I step inside flight definition, everytime I have there set actual my local time. No need do any changes…
No. The sliding button in mine always needs to be turned on to get real time. The time shown is not current time. I’m wondering if this button can be permanently set to ON
Looks like we talk about different things.
You said click ON but where? I said, I’m at World map to set flight and ther is everytime set my actual local time, no need set it again. Inside flight in the air is different, if you move slider then you need manually move to right time or click ON real time to be correctly set. Did you check some options in Sim settings? Show us that screenshot with your time to see that differencies. Your local PC OS settings with Time and Date? Maybe here is problem…
So when I turned on my computer this morning, I received a message from Windows 11 that my time zone had been updated due to a location change. (My computer’s location hasn’t changed.) So the problem was on my end.
Thanks for the responses.
OK…got it thanks. I tend to have weather and time on custom, not LIVE. That would explain it. Then I wouldn’t have to move the slider.
