I really would love to see that one on my console or PC.
Unfortunately latest update(48h as daily gamer) on deluxe edition as standard edition for MSFS2020 shrink your beautiful work and efforts for rockets to 50% of size of them.
I am sorry - what is wrong with the rocket? The size seems right. Space Shuttle was relatively small. Maybe you think it was the same size as SLS or Saturn V - it was half their size
So far I have been flying over my favorite spots: NO
I like to fly my daily routines, and when I see such thing it raises my eyebrows: what happend againā¦
I do not criticize your nice big work on all this, I just make an observation, because if you fly as regular curiously over the same spots with an same rotorcraft on purpose, you will notice a difference like a punch into your ⦠eyes.
On just a nice 99% sRGB HD screen.
It might have been a loading issue on my end the latest weeks, today there is been proved 1200 errors in debug console. (six times more than usual!!!, community folder empty!!!)
This kind of things I like to check regularly, as I would like to have just an idea how things are running today.
MSFS2020 is a huge program with lots of good featuresā.
I am running quite good, exept yesterday and today with big stutters on Ohio.
I do apologize for not having the time to make screenshots or videos for comparing the week before and after.
This could have been the real proof.
As I commented, it could have been on my end, it is such a huge SIM.
But I did not see any error reports on PC, neither crashing my backup playing Xbox X so far tonight.
Hello. Unfortunately - no. We are in a standby mode for 2024, because Asobo drastically changed the LOD rules for 3D assets. You will probably get the same answer from a lot of other publishers. Now, the LODs need to be custom-defined for each 3D asset, and this requires a lot of vertex-level analytics. This wouldnāt be a problem for one or two buildings, but we literally have hundreds of 3D assets in our scenery, and that would require a LOT of time.
So, for now, we are waiting until Asobo finds a solution for this - there is a rumor of a tool that would greatly expedite this.
Thanks - Looks like they got their act together and ported this without the need of any major re-work. Are LODs working properly? Also, does the scenery package have āNot Creator Approvedā label?
Yes, the package has the āNot Creator Approvedā label. The only issue i have detected so far is at the Shuttle Landing Facility⦠Sometimes i got no runway lights, other times twice as many as normal.
And also the flag on the VAB is mirrored, but maybe it was like that before.
Itās so nice to finally get to enjoy this masterpiece with 2024.
Same experience here. Not sure if the LOD problem was actually addressed, but the scenery works fine on my 2024 SU2 beta setup performance- and visual-wise.
It was like that before⦠oops. We fixed it in the update - which, I am sad to say, has been stalled because we are trying to figure out how the night time VFX (the rocket launch plume is completely dark during night launches, and it looks odd)
You would definitely know if the LOD problem was there - the highest LOD would not load until you were basically right next to the SimObject. From your screenshots, I can see they addressed that.
If they didnāt, we would have to go to EVERY single 3D object (SimObject or a scenery object), manually count vertices for every LOD and adjust LOD limits for every LOD of every object.
Do you plan to release this on other outlets besides the marketplace? And/or do you have any idea when it will be available for purchase on the 2024 marketplace? (It currently isnāt listed as far as I can seeā¦)
No - no plans to release it anywhere else. We are exclusive to MSFS MP, and for this release, we were featured on the main MP tile in the sim.
As far as 2024 MP, as Asobo just recently provided the pathway for 2020 content to be released on 2024, we need to look into the ingestion process, and hopefully, if there are no showstoppers, we will provide 2024 MP release soon.
Weāve also been experimenting with our own physics model (SpacePort) that allows us to fly to space. Here is Capt. Simās Orbiter, under full control of SpacePort physics engine, testing its RCS maneuverability in orbit:
Hey, all you Apollo maniacs out there! Here are a few Saturn V launch sequences, this time with proper plumes! (no night launches, we are still working on night-illuminated VFX)
Man, this is so great. I watched the third shuttle mission from 3 miles out, and the sound blast brought tears, and a vibrating shirtāIt was so cool.
