I totally forgot about this post too… Looking for some more flying friends over the Canadian West Coast and Pacific Northwest.

Some updated news… RomanDesign, is creating YYJ (Victoria) As for me, I’ve moved further north on the island, but still fly out of CYCD (Nanaimo, available on FlightSim.to) and YBL (Campbell River, on FlightSim.to).
I should be back up and running in the sim too. I am usually flying around the BC and Vancouver island coast, nanaimo included some times into the interior, and once and a while edmonton and calgary too… would be so awesome if someone actually properly made CYPK as it now, so many changes to that Airport. I use that as my home airport. I have several addon airports for the area too.
Forgot to add, anyone use discord for flying? Would be a good place to organize flights. I am currently on one server kstormpc it used to be quite busy, but some of us still post there. I could look at perhaps facebook groups, but Alas I just do not have time to moderate a group. So many fly around in the sim, and never know if anyone there would be interested in group flights.
I use discord while flying sometimes, I fly with this group. Thepilotclub.org they are great group.

I use CYPK as my “home airport” too. A couple of weeks ago I was just idly flying around the North Shore and came across a random GA player. Somehow through airplane body language we ended up doing an impromptu flight up to Squamish, then over to Pemberton, Lytton and up the Thompson River to Spences Bridge. All in all I think we flew for 4 hours or so. It was one of the best flights I ever had on MSFS.
So long story short if anyone sees me on the West USA server flying aimlessly around the area come fly along! If you add someone as your friend through the XBOX game bar there’s even facility to text them (I think the in game friend system does not allow that).
Nice flight in an amazing location, I fly out of YCD a lot, and do some GA out of YNJ. Home base, YBL.

Wow, seeing that old CP orange livery takes me back. My first flight on any kind of jet was at 5 years old, in 1980, on a CP 747 from Toronto to Vancouver, returning home after visiting family. I remember not being able to detach my face from the window and my mom basically having to drag me off the plane by my heels finally, hehe. I wanted to live on that thing.
That, plus a float plane flight to Tofino the same year, and it was over, I was hooked on flying for life.
