Airports are often hard to find in real flying, especially on flat featureless terrain. The MSFS wide angle cockpit camera presentation makes it harder still – everything looks further away and smaller. I often use airport markers to help.
In MSFS, when I fly with no destination specified, all markers are visible. When I specify a destination, its marker disappears, while all others are still there.
Is this deliberate? Why?
