Variety of freeware GA Aircraft

A powered hang glider is called a ‘Microlight’.

Home cockpits for them are easy in VR.
A broom handle gaffer taped to a joystick. Twistgrip throttle.

Mine are not well known as I took them off other media websites when I added my own website, but you can find my Freeware section here: https://sites.google.com/view/hangarstudios713/freeware

It’s not much, but hey they are free..

Cool stuff you have there. Thank you!

I would love to find a plane that when you look at it, it makes you question your life choices for getting in that thing. Like something that looks like a rusty old POS that sounds like an old muscle car from the 70s but functional. Would be fun.

I’m actually thinking of learning how to create an aircraft since I already have a background in 3D modeling and game asset creation. I made quite a few custom airports for myself in FSX but never got into making planes.

Here is a free fully functional muscle plane from the 70’s, with dirty liveries included. Try it, you’ll like it.

Another free muscle plane with an engine worthy of the most monstrous muscle cars. It will blow your neurons !

For both planes, plenty of free liveries are available.

Thanks! Downloaded the cessna but not sure which savage grravel to get. What’s the difference from stable and beta versions?

Download the stable version

That’s Dastardly.

Muscle airplane.

I actually like the Monster NX and the Savage Carbon the best of the GF bunch. The Monster NX is fun to fly at ~34KT 3’ above the runway for it’s entire length in full flaps full rudder crab and just plop it on the pianos at the far end, or directly in a parking spot. Or take off on the juice, climb at 45 degrees and roll and perform a split S into a parachute crab and set it back down without leaving the length of the (GA) runway.

You are absolutely right on target with your assessment of the Cessna T206H. I great plane that keeps getting better as the designer has made updates to it. Great for VFR low and slow flight. Available on FS.to
