Varjo Aero wont go to full VR mode, just a dual eye grey background view space?

Im suddenly having an issue where i cant get into real 3d vr mode, it takes me to a grey room with dual screens.

Im not sure why this is suddenly happening. Im running su10 beta, but i dont think this is related to that, i’ve had this happen before but this time restarting etc, hasnt helped.
Only thing i can think of is that i tried to switch to dx12 mode to test but each start up after it still shows dx11 in the menu, so maybe not.

Anyone ran into this?

EDIT: some combination of resetting the varjo to factory defaults and triggering an update on msfs seemed to cured this, i think it was the former.

After closing and reopening MSFS, seems the issue returned.

I believe the issue was actually due to using a saved flight… i guess maybe one cloud set template i had went missing and may have been the cause.

I’ve had this happen with my Reverb G2. A restart of the sim fixed it.

I can reproduce this in the SU10 beta. If I record a flight using the sims’ new experimental feature, and then try to edit that recorded flight while still in VR, I get this window. I haven’t tried this using the record feature in the dev menu of SU9 so maybe someone else could give it a try but in the beta you must edit a recorded flight while in 2D mode otherwise you get stuck in this window.
