I am trying to get Littlenavmap to display VATSIM’s active online controllers. But I have 2 issues.
Littlenavmap displays ATC centers as circles. In the manual, it’s explained that we can download the airspaces as openair files to get the right geometry. Is there a place to download the airspaces for VATSIM? At least covering Europe?
How to see all ATC online controllers in the map (as circle or else)? I see by default all VATSIM traffic but in order to see ATC I need to look for it in the search panel and then select all in order to see it highlighted in the map. I tried to look for a solution in the manual but I could not find it.
A work around is to use Vatspy, but yes, it would be Nice if LNM could depict the VATSIM world as an Option.
Just have to wonder how much more complex LNM can get !!!
What will make my day with LNM, is when it can optionally display MSFS Multiplayer planes, but that would seem to be waiting on ASOBO to make them available (and their GameTag LABELS please ASOBO !! )
Yes, we know there is an potential issue with displaying user entered (inappropriate) Tail Number (sigh) … the world’s population is getting suckier every day !!!
Thanks, one of the “airspace buttons” lets me see the active airspaces (manned). What I am still missing is to get the right geometry of the centers. Any idea from where to download the openair files?
Also, what do you mean by connecting LNM to my VATSIM account? I can’t see that option.
