Hope they add VATSIM in the marketplace for XBOX, surely can’t be too difficult to make it install on Xbox, just a thought and question if it is possible. I’m not on Xbox btw just saying

Not happening for the foreseeable future. There appear to be major technical hurdles.

I agree. Don’t see it happening. Xbox users are going to have to expect to not have all of the external mods and applications available on PC.

No SimConnect = no VATSIM.
This is an entirely normal thing on Xbox. If you want to go beyond the ‘walled garden’ it’s necessary to buy a PC. I think I’ll stick to my Xbox though.

i think some kind of stuff have to remains in the SIM world of PC and not translate in the arcade one of the console.

The Xbox also does not have Simconnect like the PC does. That severely limits outside add on applications from accessing the things in the sim it needs to.
Buy a PC and enjoy the sim to its fullest.

If it’s arcade on the console then it is on the pc as well. Deluded if you think otherwise

Given a choice I think I prefer an Xbox. I’m in no hurry to possess a PC again.

I hope vatsim stays off consoles. You just need to turn live players on and watch the madness that now appears more now it’s on Xbox at airports. Vatsim controllers are busy enough as it is without having to deal with people messing around.

i dont means only the flight model, it was arcade from day one. i means the third party tools, navigraph, vatsim, ivao, g1000, 750 etc all the third party tools, this is the thing you need to become a simmer in my opinion. otherwise you just fly arcade airplane with 3 functional switch like battery, thrust and flap,

Again this protective attitude runs counter to the many statements in this forum that this is a community with the PC users and the Xbox users ultimately experiencing the same. Surely with the statements above, this can never be fulfilled?

At least it can be optional, whoever goes to VATSIM wants an environment close to the real thing. Whoever wants to fly like an arcade doesn’t care about it and will stay away from vatsim.
I’m living outside my country and can’t afford a good PC here. I’m sad that I can’t use VATSIM in XBOX version.
