I receive CTDs with the fault at VCRUNTIME140.dll also. But, only in planes with a glass cockpit, such as a G1000 system. Planes without, like the c150 run perfectly well.
Perhaps narrowing down the problem of how the G1000 system is triggering a VCRUNTIME140 fault, if that happens to be the case, may be worth looking into.
