VelocityOne Flight Universal Control System - Turtle Beach

Great yoke

I set mine up with completely blank profiles, makes sure that i know what each function does. I dont use any of the built-in profiles, just leave it set to default on the yoke and choose my profile in FS2020, i have one for each plane i fly, all different. On my small GA planes I use the linear throttle/prop sliders and do not program the quadrant - on the larger planes i use the quadrant and delete the mappings for the linear knobs.

The trim wheel is brilliant. You will likely need to set and tweak sensitivities for all axes.

The reverse thrusts do work but you cannot use quick-resume yet - if you do it will lose the reverse detents, To make it work, the only way at present is to unplug the yoke, start the sim and let it boot up fully then plug the yoke in - works every time. Hoping this will get fixed in SU10 or SU11.

Don’t lube the action at all - it just gums it up, leave it as is and it stays smooth, or at least my one has so far. I’m on the second one as the first developed an issue and was replaced - i lubed that one but the new one is far smoother without it.

Never use the stopwatch or clock feature on the yoke - there is a firmware issue that is known by TB and it causes the rudder to hard-over randomly, a fix has been promised.

The SIP indicator panel lights do not yet work on X-Box, i was a bit vexed about this but now after 9 months I really don’t care any more, its just not that important to me i guess.

Have fun
