Hello. I noticed that the release notes for SU 15 said that support for the VelocityOne FlightDeck stick/throttle combo was added. I would love to know more about what this means since I thought the FlightDeck could be used prior to SU 15. Interestingly, I also noticed that TurtleBeach updated the FlightDeck’s Throttle and Stick firmware plus the associated Flight Hanger configuration utility on or around 5/14 this year.
I checked but please forgive me if this has been asked before. If so, please point me. What capability or capabilities have been added in SU 15 for the VelocityOne FlightDeck?
Thanks so much. --Redeye
Total guess as I don’t own the stick but I bet it just means the correct diagram / picture is shown when you select that device now and perhaps a default controller profile has been given.

That’s my belief also. They also said they added the Virtual Fly Yoke, and TQ Neo devices. Without support you can still use them, but you’d have to build the profile from scratch, and I think it shows a question mark for the device rather than an image of it.

I may have answered my own question. Many FlightDeck reviewers complained about the complete lack of presets, i.e. they needed to configure all the controls from scratch. It turns out that SU 15 addressed this very thing. Both the throttle and stick now have presets built into the default profile. I haven’t investigated enough to see how complete they are, but I would assume they are better than completely blank. I have yet to fly with the FlightDeck, but it is imminent.
One caveat for those setting up the FlightDeck is that the headset jack on the stick will take over the sound in Windows even if nothing is plugged in. One must switch Windows’ sound back to the desired device. Thanks. --Redeye
