Maybe it’s a bug but you can Manage A/c before selecting Fly Now and add fuel.

Yeah, I know, you can add fuel manually, but what if you don’t notice fuel and think that everything is fine? But then you crash 2 minutes after you take off? LOL

That’s a pretty important part of being a pilot.

checking the fuel on board before you start the engine is always a good idea unless you’re in a glider

Two things:

1st Depending on the altitude you will have to adjust the mixture otherwise the aircraft will use more fuel.

2nd The problem is that the C172S in FS2024 is MUCH more fuel-hungry than the FS2020.

The Cessna 172S in FS2024 consumes more fuel compared to the FS2020 version! - Bug Reporting Hub / Aircraft & Systems - Microsoft Flight Simulator Forums

Refueling is part of the game and game economy.

In real life you never fill the tank 100% unless you’re going cross country.

How long have you been playing a “game”? You seem to be unaware about half of the half of things that have been bugged and wrong in Career. Go back to your free flight .

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• Yes - De Havilland DHC-2

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• The mission failed after landing at an intermediate airport to attempt a refuel of the aircraft.
It is impossible to (as far as I can tell), to fuel the aircraft before or after selecting “Fly”. The tablet’s fuel page doesn’t let you adjust fuel load. I indicates that “You cannot load in aircraft during this flight phase”

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

tried to refuel with ground service an added extra fuel pre-mission in the efb. Both did not work. Still low on fuel during flight. Skyhawk 172. Luckily i could abort the mission

Did you set the Fuel Regulator to both in the Middle of the Plane? Standard is only left tank in the Cessna.

Ahhh. Thats a good idea but fuel meter was in yellow when i left. Dont know if its a career difficulty. Will try tomorrow. Thanks

I don’t think Albart flies career, he talks like a free flier. In Career you can only adjust fuel by mapping a key to “Add Fuel quantity”. Nothing else works. So try mapping the key.

I absolutely fly career, and so far never had an issue with Fuel, regardless of Employee or Freelancer. Don‘t forget that in Freelance mode you need to fill the plane before you start the flight in the hangar via the Management-Tab, not via EFB or when you are already in the Cockpit.

The command add fuel works like a charm. You can add 25% fuel with each click. This works when you are on the ground, in yhe plane in careermode freelancer.

The command fuel and repair gives crashes to desktop (ctd)

Well sure you can use it, but it is not realistic. Realistic is only fill it up in advance before you enter the plane via the Management Tab (and pay for it in Freelancer).
