Very Pixilated clouds SU5 MSFS2024

Hi all,

SU5 for me has been in the main very good no CTDs, stable and smooth with good overall performance.

However Volumetric clouds are not good compared to SU4 very pixilated edges ( These are set on Ultra, and LOD Bias clamped in Nvidia CP). All other Graphics settings set on same value as SU4.

Is this a result of Asobo downgrading grapics for the console players amongst us, or is there another reason?

Any guidance/advice would be appreciated.

I have observed that pixelated clouds happen when your system gets bogged down in general. One day, one flight they’re good and the next day they are rough. Remember that if you have dynamic graphics turned on, cloud quality could be set lower if you drop below your desired FPS target.
