After this latest update (1.35.21.0) the sim won’t load past the main screen. The blue bar slowly progresses (eventually to 100%), but never gets to the home screen.
I have moved out the Community folder (and it did create a new blank one), but other then that there’s some CPU usage, but it’s not loading to home screen.
Anybody else?
UPDATE: It loaded eventually, but it took 20 minutes. This about 3-4x what it used to take on the previous version.
Well, it loaded eventually, but it took 20 minutes (with Community folder back in, about 17 without) on a Ryzen 5950x with a 7900 XTX. This about 3-4x what it used to take on the previous version.
I’m getting the same issue on PC. It’s worked fine the last couple days, even after the recent update. Only started doing it this evening. No changes since then.
I’ve never had any installation or loading issues in 3 years of this sim being out.
I’m having the same issue on the same game version. I’m running the latest Windows 11 build and Nvidia driver for the RTX4090. I haven’t had this issue ever before. Something has to be off as I just did a clean install too.
I have to wait like 15 mins for it to get to the main menu after the startup splash screens.
As a point of note, once in the menu everything seems to work fine without issue. I have also tried following the guides provided about improving performance but something has to be off since it only shows 1 FPS during that loading.
Yes the same is happening with mine nothing in the community folder still over an hour trying to load. The task manager shows 13% cpu usage I7 10300k 64 gig ram Mve.02 ssdrive.
Before (few months back) I had no problem runnig MSFS with addons, community folder etc. (Machine: PC - i9-13900HX, 32GB RAM, GeForce RTX 4070 with driver 551.23, Windows 11).
After installing latest update (1.35.21.0) yesterday I was able to start and run sim for few minutes, after that sim crashed. When I was trying to restart it, problem started.
Stucked on loading screen +/- in the middle of loading. First I let it to load for almost hour, but still same state. Checked also performance, CPU running only on 0,1%, PC was basically doing nothing.
Went trough all the checklists to repair issue, removed community folder, disconnected all HW equipment, updated Win, updated GPU driver, updated even bios, sim was basically in vanilla state but nothing changed. I even reinstalled whole sim during today, but no change after all.
One strange thing I noticed during my trying. When I removed rolling cache and xbox game service, then reinstalled it back and restarted PC, during next startup in the middle when its usually stuck, popups with certificate issue showed up (4 of them). When I agreed to accept certificates loading continues and main menu appears almost immediatelly. When I restarted it again same issue, but no certificates reports anymore. So again, need to do same stuff, remove rolling cache, reinstall xbox game service and everything repeats as before.
Actual state: I am not able to run sim with any addons or hardware. When I want to start it somehow I need to go trough everything mentioned above. Impossible to use sim normally.
I downloaded latest updates for Windows, also for xbox app and for Nvidia driver. Still same result. Everything is up to date, I checked it multiple times.
its 100% server issue not user error as they always like to claim I get the bandwith too low message even before reaching main menu never had this happen before. loading time is unnatural like 10 mins then when loading a flight again the bandwith too low message and is stuck on loading. fix your servers or im gonna break my monitor I swear
