VFS Activating Packages... On every loading?

Just wondering… Anyone know if it will be like that every time we will fire up the sim? Take ages!! Fix that please!

it does that at every sim start, it is because of everything being streamed now, it is very slow even on the fastest internet connection you can have not even to mention trying to start a flight since it also has to stream all that it takes about an 45 minutes for me now to just start a flight. Most annoying sim ever so far.

Left 2024, back to 2020 to check my settings for some devices, quit and now I’m back to the initial launch which is incredibly long to load. This is absolutely unacceptable.

This is not making me happy at all. I expect for us to see tons of pushback coming!

And did they tell us we wouldn’t have all our plane’s available either?

I’ve had to restart 4 times now. I left the sim too it, only to come back, and notice no music is playing. CTD.

The Alpha worked fine though, and was super fast to load.

Oh, and much better performance with 2020.

Having same issue. Now server error. Guess will just put this away for a while.

Well I finally get into it 1st time… Then it say to get my plane to restart the sim (in notification icon). I did and now loading at 0% for almost 30 minutes… (watching a stream from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mKP0Xv0vQRU) meanwhile… I don’t know what to say!!!

Having the exact same issues. VFS Activating packages is taking 10 minutes and up every game start. Everything is loading extremely slow for my PC Specs. I have the MS Store version for what it’s worth and the sim on a separate drive from the OS. Both are Western Digital Black NVMEs.

Having same issue. Constant crash to desktop when in settings or during flight with event error Exception code: 0xc0000005, and various different offse t codes.
When trying to restart the game, takes up to an hour or more each time.
It shows ive had 16 hours playtime but really its been maybe 3 with the rest just waiting for the game to load.

Had no issues with the tech Alpha, hopefully the crashes just are linked to the server issues?

Guess the devs never left the sim so they didnt notice there might be a problem.

Yup, a little confused why some people say 2024 loads so much faster? Where? Who are these people? Package activation takes forever. Everything feels just as slow and kludgy to me as before…

It’s certainly not as fast to load as the Beta. I was pleasantly surprised by that. But now we have all the protected content to check, and other online features, and we are back where we started. It doesn’t load much faster now than 2020 did, for me.

Does this still load at every startup? I have only a 50 mbps connection, but this takes forever. This is keeping me from playing my Aviator edition since release. Whenever I find the time I do not want to sit through an initial 10-15 minutes of load only to load even more in game.

We are how many days after release and I still can’t get into this game. Start a session and I get to 12% max. I have a 2Gbps fiber connection with a 2.5Gbps switch to my computer all ethernet. None of that has helped. It’s entirely on the verification servers simply not being up to the task STILL. It should never take more than 60 seconds from lunching a game to getting into a menu and interacting with the UI. This is unacceptable.
