Brief description of the issue:
Hi! Posting regarding ILS 31 in Kai tak/VHHX.
Seems to me there’s now a 1 degree offset coded with the station itself in MSFS.
Actual runway magnetic heading is now 317 and FMC database shows inbound course 317 in LNAV (LEGS page).
However the ILS itself is still 316 (Change in magnetic varation not updated?) leading to offset approaches to the right. Is this on Asobo’s side or is this station in Navigraph’s DB update?
Many thanks

I had a reply from a Navigraph Team Member on their forum.
Airport is not updated by Navigraph as it is now fictionnal.
So might be in Asobo’s data. Anyway to have this fixed either by Asobo or by editing files manually in MSFS like in P3D?
Every time landing on MS VHHX the plane is offset on runway ILS 31. Tried with payware VHHX and it still offset exactly on the same spot. I did a video with MS VHHX (Airport Default). Is it a bug?
Clearly that as longer if the Asobo Studio Microsoft VHHX (Default) keeps the runway ILS 31 Offset it will be a waste to go for a Payware or Freeware regardless of Navigrapgh addon is present or not in the Community folder.
Trying to figure out this one too… There used to be some very good utility with P3D to do this (SORS AIE) but haven’t found an equivalent software for MSFS so far…
I can’t answer you because I am not an expert with this. All I can say is, with Navigraph uninstalled my landings with VHHX regardless of if default or payware the touchdown is well centered on runway ILS 31.
But, after Navigraph installed the touchdown is offset. It has been said the Navigraph will correct it but still not fixed.
I contacted fistful times with Navigraph Support before and after AIRAC 2502 and definitely there is no interest to fix it. So, VHHX doesn’t need Navigraph any longer. Unless someone can help with the procedure to change the heading 316 to 317 in the Navigraph database.
