Quick question, I’ve been doing some VIP career mode missions into Aspen and every time I come in for landing I see warnings of icing on the flaps. I turned on all the anti-icing buttons, but it is still showing that stall speed is high. Is this to be expected? Is there no way to defeat the icing or is it possibly a bug and the anti-icing buttons are just not working?
Stall speed high is a consequence of switching on the anti-icing. It’s a reminder to the pilot that the airframe may not be as efficient as it would be in its normal state due to possible icing so as the pilot you carry some more speed to counteract the less efficient airframe.
