ISSUE DESCRIPTION
When taking off in the Microsoft 2024 Vision Jet, above 30 knots or so, the jet pulls hard to the left and requires almost full right rudder to stay straight.

I am using a regular joystick (Extreme 3D pro) so could be a configuration issue with your Honeycomb rudder pedals ?
Are you experiencing the same issue with other aircraft ?
If you disconnect your rudder pedals, is the issue gone ?
Does it happen if you use Clear Skies and no wind preset?
Sorry for the delay here – I just finally got to a point where I could fly again.
I’m running:
Moza AB9 Sidestick
Honeycomb Alpha, Bravo and Charlie
Winwing EFIS/FCU Panel
I first took off with all of them connected – drifting hard to the right requires full left rudder.
I then unplugged everything, one by one, up to only my mouse being left, same result.
Every once in a while (maybe 1 out of 25 flights or so) I can take off with normal rudder usage – the rest requires literal full rudder adjustment to have a chance of staying on the runway.
Disclaimer: I am a FlightFX Staffer
Microsoft removed our ground behavior rollout changes to the jet when they took over the product. We had modified it as one of our optimizations, but it’s up to them now if they’re planning to restore it. That may be related.
Unfortunately, yes.
Would a video or logs help me out here? Again, apologies for the delay – life has been absolutely crazy for me recently.
No - please see my note above
Dang – yeah, the FlightFX never did it to me in 2020 and doesn’t do it to me in 2024 either.
You all produced probably my favorite plane in any sim I’ve worked with, so thank you. H Jet and Citation X are also amazing. <3
I want to love the Microsoft one as well, but being all over the runway on takeoff just ruins it for me.
It’s easier to take off in a 172 with a 15 knot crosswind than the Vision Jet currently.
I believe you can try to enable our jet if it carried over from your 2020 Library? That should disable the 2024 one. You need to have the same Gamertag in both sims and have bought both sims from the same store - i.e., Steam, MS-Store.
I think that makes the most sense. Thank you!
