you really need to hit pause and listen to what people are telling you
#1 you are at 26,500 feet there – that is very high
#2 you are going MACH .492 – that is VERY fast for that plane – you are NOT “only going 190 knots” that is INDICATED airspeed, not TRUE airspeed – very thin air = INDICATED will be much lower than actual. You need to look in the lower left corner for TAS, that will be something like 297KT – see mine:
#3 at the barber pole the plane will explode in the air, you don’t want to go that fast – that is your “do not exceed” speed but you can’t hit that speed unless you descend – but still you don’t want to do that
#4 if you want FLC mode to work set an altitude using the “ALT SEL” knob first – right next to FLC button:
If you look back at my first image you will see 26500 in cyan at the top of the altitude tape. That’s because I dialed in an altitude.
You are not still in takeoff mode, that would say “TO” – you are in ROL (Roll) and PIT (Pitch) mode. You could hit ALT to hold an altitude or HDG to fly to your selected heading, or use any other autopilot functions.
The Vision Jet G2 is a very fun toy, but it’s barely a jet plane – it’s NOT super fast like a business jet. That is as fast as it will go at that altitude.
As you seem to think you’re speed limited let’s just look at the image you’ve provided here. You’re at 196 kts. The magenta line shows that the a/c is still accelerating and, if nothing is changed, will continue to accelerate to almost Vne. That’s the red barber pole at the top of the speed tape. This varies depending on altitude and you’re at 26,500’.
This shows beyond doubt that you are not limited to the 150 kts you keep quoting. Your VJ is performing as expected.
It might if you look at the TAS you’re getting and research what it means.
The photos you’ve supplied show that you’re getting more than the 150 kts you’re claiming is the limit and your TAS will be even higher. TAS is the limiting factor based on many things including aileron flutter which can lead to a/c breakup.
Or better, post a video showing what you are doing and we can advise – but I already posted a video showing them how to use the AP/AT and what indicated airspeeds to expect at a few different altitudes – maybe that will help. But of the plethora of bugs in 2024 this isn’t one of them.
@MickyMouse69434 please trust us, I don’t know exactly what the video you saw showed but there are 8 different people in this topic reassuring you that your aeroplane is working properly
I fly this often, but never paid much attention to the rollbar changes in TAS/Vne airspeed with auto throttle. I flew a few different altitudes today. Speeds seem to be well within the specs of the Vjet as mentioned. Starting at 3500 to 26000. Here’s what I saw with autopilot and auto throttle. Indicated and true was a shocker for me kinda. Thanks for pointing that out Darkstar. Back to flight school for me. I need a refresher
