Visual degradation on Xbox

Well these are my two work arounds currently. Neither one is acceptable after what we had.

While I don’t suffer from Crash To Desktops after SU15, I now suffer from QTD. Quit to Desktop, because it’s awful and no longer enjoyable. I refuse to even do pattern work anymore, simply because runways/ taxiways/ buildings morphing and popping in and out of ‘detail’ has become so ludicrous.

I never thought I’d say this but thank god for Aerosoft. The only work around I’ve found for this SU15 LOD issue is flying in Aerosoft’s North Sea Addon.
Luckily I spend most of my time in the sim in Helicopters, and have enjoyed this addon for awhile. So I have shipped out to be a North Sea Utility pilot, until we get a fix. (July? August? September?)

Now I don’t have to worry about blurry offline like ground textures, buildings and mountains morphing/popping, no more trees growing miraculously right in front of me… just pure blue ocean water that doesn’t need to render or use memory. All the ships, oil rigs, and windmills hold detail much better out here. So I guess it’s a pirates life for me.

I sure hope MS/Asobo doesn’t say “we found another 500mb of ram” and then proceed to remove all the water on Xbox for performance.

Sorry we broke the sim and we can’t/wont fix it. Maybe you can buy our new one in November
