For some reason I can’t get sound after I upgraded to the Vive pro 2 from the Vive Pro.
The only way I get sound is by mirroring the sound .
No other sim has the issue.

The only time I have seen that is if Windows had not picked the VP2 for the audio output device.
Yes I used to have that problem with the Vive pro occasionally, the only output option now is Speakers ( 2 - Vive pro multimedia Audio). Even if this output is selected its stoney silence.
For some reason my VP2 shows as ( 3 - Vive pro multimedia Audio) but don’t think that is the issue.
Without MSFS running and I just have turned on my VP2 if I adjust my 3 - Vive pro multimedia Audio volume I can hear a ding in the headset.
If I go into SteamVR home and move around with the VR controllers I hear sounds when doing that. When outside I can hear the birds low in the background.
Is it possible that you have the sound turned down on the headset? I know there is a mic mute but don’t think there is a speakers mute other than the up down volume adjustment.
I don’t have an issue with any other program on steam or P3d or X plane. This MSFS is so buggy.
