I’m trying to calibrate this by going by the videos and the calibration screen never pops up to go through the control actions. I get 2 yes or no calibrate windows which I click yes to and then nothing else and the blue light on the base blinks. Like I said, no window to do the calibration movements like in the videos. Is this correct or am I missing something?
Did you download the [DevConfig] from VKB?

KK, in my version of VKB Device Config after selecting the VKB joystick I have the option to start calibration (start calibr) and to end calibration (end calibr). Does your Device Config look similar?

I checked the calibration process again. It seems that the axis calibration screen does not appear during the calibration process and I think that’s how it’s supposed to be.
A pop-up window only appears if you click “default.” Even if you click “default” you still need to click “start calibr” and “end calibr” once you finish calibrating the axes. This process is not automatic so you have to click manually

I have all the top picture parts and have done all you said but still don’t get the second picture options. It’s a brand new unit. I did post this on the VKB forum as you suggested but am still waiting for approval I reckon. I’m not sure how to get screen shots from my PC to show you what I have. I do appreciate all the help.
I don’t know if this matters but there were 2 places to plug the joystick wire in on the bottom of the base instead of 1 like the tutorials I watched. I chose the one NOT in the middle of the 3. A bigger one was already used and the the 2 small ones for the joystick. I’ll get you a picture later if it will help.

In the VKB Gladiator NXT EVO Space Combat Premium (right) joystick I have only one port to which I can connect the cable.
I thought it was about an external output, not an internal one. Unfortunately, I don’t remember which one I connected the cable to. I wonder if you read the manual?
Manual? That’s funny. A sheet of paper with very little info.
A 163-page manual is not a small amount of information.
I wonder if you upgraded the firmware to the latest version because that should have been your starting point.
I thought you meant a manual that came with it. Just the piece of paper. Guess the one you’re talking about would be online? I did the firmware also.

Well I dumbed around, restarted the procedure from the beginning and I believe I finally got it. Didn’t do anything differently that I know of but it seem to be working.

Thanks for the help. Nor really a resolve but unknown luck. I’ll keep digging and let you know if I figure it out in case someone else runs across it. Probably just something simple my duma** missed though.
