Brief description of the issue:

When pressing VNAV for decent the PFD shows ALT* however is descending as expected. Additional note the aircraft briefly displayed VNAV IAS before reverting to ALT* like in the screenshot below

I am unable of arming VNAV PATH , therefore, the aircraft doesn’t respect any published constraint , instead, it initiate a sharp decent in ALT* mode.

yes, updated this plane 4 hours prior to 1.0.20 and this was my 3rd flight on it

seems right to me. posted yesterday night when the Microsoft build was 1.32.7.0

I guess build should be related to the issue, thus version of ATR.

Yes

Enter a flight plan into the FMS with an arrival procedure or RNAV approach containing altitude constraints. In cruise, prior to descent, arm VNAV on the autopilot. The avionics will indicate ALT* but apparently capture the glide path. Toggling the VNAV button does not reliably fix the issue.
