Volanta not tracking

Hi there,

anyone had problem with volanta which is not tracking flights? It says it will do it automatically but after sim start nothing happens. If I go manually with Simbrief import it just show the track without my aircraft on it.

Anyone had similiar issue? I tried to reinstall Volanta, relaunching and nothing helped. It cannot connect to MFS2020. Having the latest ver 1.0.14…

Thank you in advance for your advices.

Usually if they don’t track it, I just restart volanta.

Do you turn the software before running sim or after? How does the software read the flight plan? Is it after entering the plan into fmc/mcdu/garmin? Mine just tells please launch the sim to follow your flight and nothing is happening.

It’s in the middle of the flight. I just turn it off, as in completely off from the taskbar, not just closing the volanta window which will only minimise it to the taskbrar. Right click on the volanta icon on the taskbar and Quit. This will completely close Volanta. Then just restart Volanta and it will pick up your aircraft on the world map. And I just reset my current flight with the aircraft, departure and destination, and reload my flight plan.

I’m having thew same problem, just signed up for volanta today and installed it but it doesn’t seem able to connect to msfs simconnect. It keeps saying the right version isn’t installed. I click the button to install simconnect and the message goes away but comes back if I restart volanta. I’ve installed the sdk core components. I’ve tried running volanta as administrator but it doesn’t track and the log says it is failing to connect.

Hello, the same problem and I solved it, installing this file and restarting the pc: SimConnect.zip
Download Simconnect | FsPassengers

because when you give it to install from volanta it does not install it, I think that in user / appData / local / temp you have the file, try to install it if you do not want to download the link that I put

This works! I found the SimConnect update file in user / appData / local / temp
Thanks!

Thank you very much. I have been struggling with this problem for a week. Now I can work with Volanta as before.
The problem started when I switched to Windows 11 and reinstalled the simulator again because it wasn’t working right. The simulator downloaded from the Microsoft Store, is from Xbox and from then on, I could no longer use Volanta to register the flights, because Simconnect did not work.

What’s the file name? There’s so much stuff in this folder, can people be more specific please?

Do I just go into the file and install the sim connect thing inside it?
