I did a run from Naples Italy to Catania on the island of Sicily. This hop got me close to both Mt. Vesuvius and Mt. Etna. At over 10,000’, the latter is considered a “stratovolcano.” It’s a little odd cruising at 10K and still having something nearly 1,000’ above your plane! I had to drop fast to make it into Catania after that, but I made it without breaking anything!
