Volocopter shows as a 2020 aircraft

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
The Volocopter Volocity Xbox Aviators Club Livery is displayed in the Aircraft Selection Menu with the MSFS 2020 text. The aircraft in the white livery does not have this text. It is incorrect or the default Xbox Aviators Club livery has not been updated to 2024. The Xbox Aviators Club livery was displayed by default for me, I did not first have to Select the livery from the Configure Aircraft menu.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? Every time.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Select the Volocopter Volocity
  2. Configure the aircraft.
  3. Select the Xbox Aviators Club livery.
  4. Observe the MSFS 2020 text in the upper right corner of the image.

• Not sure if this is actually a bug. I think the Volocopter may be a straight port from 2020 into 2024. Some other aircraft show this too on my PC (though none of these are in the standard edition), e.g.:

Those are different than the Volocopter. The 707, Westland Scout, & FW 200 Condor are all Local Legends / Famous Fliers from 2020 included in the 2024 Aviator’s Edition. The Volocopter is a 2024 default aircraft and the default included livery should not still be in the 2020 format.

• I had the same issue, but disabled both Aviator liveries and the default livery keyframe now has no 2020 labeling. It seems tied to the 2020-based liveries.

That was my thought too, but I don’t have any 2020 stuff enabled, even from Aviator edition. My thought process is: if this livery is available by default, why wouldn’t it be converted to 2024 format.

There are a few 2020-based liveries for some of the other 2024-based aircraft included in the sim. I’m thinking off-the-top-of-my-head there are some for the 787.
