Description of the issue:

Career and other online services not useable with VPN, e.g. Missions not loading

start VPN (NordVPN)
start SIM
3.choose Career mode

Career mode cannot be used an also there are almost no Missions spawnig when I use my VPN.
Nothing else is impacted on my system, I can open any site when I use the VPN

Out of interest, why are you using a VPN for MSFS?

VPNs will always have an increased latency and slower download and upload speeds, which isn’t really a great infrastructure for an online game which streams nearly all of its textures and content.

I dont use it for FS exclusively, I use it on my workstation which also serves as my gaming station

I can agree that the latency sometimes is higher yes, but, that the sim doesn´t even try to load is not acceptable…

2020 also fails to load with a VPN. It fails on Checking for Updates. After checking for updates, you can enabled it and continue to play. However, be careful because SteamVr get’s confused about storing data to the Steam cloud, and it will warn you about loading settings. I always cancel out and restart in that case because I don’t want to lose my SteamVR settings by accident.

• I have no issues with my VPN (CyberGhost) and MSFS 2024.

Career mode cannot be used an also there are almost no Missions spawnig when I use my VPN.
Nothing else is impacted on my system, I can open any site when I use the VPN
