VR Bang-For-Buck Performance Guide

Totally agree, must be a problem with settings or a weak GPU.
It is bsolutely fabulous on my O+ with 2070S

Holy SMOKES. I have to say I was a bit skeptical at first because they were way lower than my settings.

I was able to do EXACTLY what you have and bump up my antialisaing to TAA and WOW WOW WOW.

I will continue to tweak.

9700k OC to 5.0
RTX 2080 FE
32Gb DDR4 4000MHZ
M.2 ssd

Thank you so much for doing this work!

I have been changing them, the only real difference is fps. Whereas in other vr games we either use a supersampling on steam and in dcs they have the pixel density option. That is not available here, so it makes the whole experience unusable.

We should get a patch soon to remove the main thread bottleneck . Looking forward for that :slightly_smiling_face:

I did see that in the video. Looking forward to that!

F5…F5…Let`s hope for no delays.

I have all VR traffic options set to around 50% and see no big impact on my FPS (around stable 35 FPS with a RTX2080 Super and Ryzen 5 3600).

Hmmm really ?? 50% Traffic

In 2D I run them at 100%.

I could of sworn it at up FPS for me.

I’ll try again and report back.
