Hey all!
I think it would be a great feature at some point for there to be an option to show your body in VR mode and be visible to others within your multiplayer group or shared cockpit (once shared cockpit eventually gets released).
A great example of this would be VTOL VR where you can hop in the cockpit with a friend and give flight instruction (pointing at things and explaining what they do). This could also be an immersion feature for flying formation with buddies. There are plenty of clips from VTOL VR where people are using communication with body language and it is incredibly immersive.
This feature may be a bit of a reach since MSFS is already tough to run in VR even on beefy systems. However, VTOL VR is optimized to run on essentially mobile hardware with the Quest headsets and has this feature. Hopefully other simmers can see the value in this feature and it has the chance of being implemented at some point.
At minimum, I think there should be a feature during shared cockpit sessions that allows the other pilot to see the VR controllers and what they are pointed at. This would add to the functionality of the shared cockpit by allowing actual instruction to take place!
