VR - CTD after 2 minutes in free flight

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: CTD after approx. 2 minutes in VR mode. I only test free-flight.

Playing in 2D is possible without any problems and good performance.

Weather settings: live weather

  2. activate VR mode

I have pretty much the same issue. Every time in VR the sim CTDs. It seems to happen faster at graphics intensive airports e.g. KORD compared to moderate ones.

Equipment and computer specs? Also are you running the latest BIOS for your motherboard?

Intel i9 rtx 4090 64 gb ram. BIOS seems to be locked down by corsair, no updates available. Will investigate further.

When it works it works fairly well with 35 fps at airports and 40+ in the sky.

Very hard and labor intensive to diagnose . Crashes are intermittent. Sometimes a few patterns over KORD would do it. But I was also able to hold over KSFO for some 30 40 min before it crashed…

I don’t usually get CTDs but I had one today with 1.7.33.0 departing CYBD in the default Vision Jet, also about 2 minutes into my VR flight.
